About Flower City Solutions

Your systems should fit your business. Not the other way around.

Flower City Solutions is a Rochester-based developer with seven years of building real systems for real problems. No sales team, no account managers, no handoffs. The person you talk to is the person who builds it.

I started in accessibility technology, where I learned how people actually communicate, work, and solve problems. Not how software assumes they do.

Over the years, I watched small businesses get squeezed into a corner. The pitch was always the same: here's a platform, here's your subscription, here's a dozen features you'll never use, and here's the invoice.

The real cost wasn't just the money. It was the compromise. Business owners reshaping their entire workflow around tools that were almost right, because the alternative was hiring a developer they couldn't afford or learning to code themselves. Corporations built walls around solutions that should have been accessible to everyone, and then charged rent for them.

That equation changed. AI made it possible to build genuinely custom software for one specific business problem without a team, a big budget, or a year-long roadmap. What it still requires is a person who cares: someone who understands the problem, knows the tools, and wants to get it right.

That's what I do. I sit down with you, figure out what you actually need and, just as importantly, what you don't, price it honestly, build it cleanly, and hand it over in a way that makes sense for your team. You own it. No vendor risk, no surprise price hikes, no bloat.

If you've searched for a fix six times and still come up empty, that's exactly where I come in.
